What’s Your Background?

I am a university-trained professional photographer and member of Professional Photographers of America. I have worked as a photographer for T.J. Maxx, a retoucher for Victoria's Secret, Chadwicks, Territory Ahead, and more. I’ve photographed events and headshots for three state agencies. My images are represented by stock agencies internationally and I have photographed all over the world. Over the course of my career, I have been lucky enough to attend the top photography conferences in the nation year after year, as well as take workshops taught by some of the biggest names in photography.

I started modeling right out of high school, and absolutely fell in love with fashion—on both sides of the camera. Several exciting years of modeling and photographing people and places around the world followed, including in Korea, France, England, Belgium, Malaysia, and many more! My experience with fashion photography as both a model and photographer has been integral in helping my clients look their best. I’m also a mother, which allows me to coax a smile out of the grumpiest toddler!

How Long Have You Been Shooting?

For over 20 years! I started shooting color rolls of film with my grandfather, who was the biggest photography enthusiast you could meet—and those remain some of my favorite memories. Sadly, my grandfather passed away in 2012, but over the course of his life he printed every single photograph he took and placed them in carefully labeled red albums. Those albums are some of my greatest treasures, and the reason why I am such an advocate of printing your memories with archival processes so that they'll last generations.

  • Sudberry Photography is a full-service portrait studio. I shoot headshots, families, graduates, vintage portraits, and even fashion and product photography. I sometimes teach photography and retouching classes to all ages and experience levels.

  • My home studio is located in Lebanon, Tennessee—about 40 minutes from downtown Nashville. Custom spaces are available for larger projects requiring a bigger studio space.

  • I am a university-trained professional photographer and member of Professional Photographers of America. Not only have I worked as a photographer for the State of Tennessee, but also as a retoucher for Victoria's Secret and a photographer and retoucher for TJ Maxx. My work is represented by multiple agencies, and I have photographed all over the world.

  • My most popular items are folio boxes with twenty matted prints, and custom framed wall-portraits that come ready to hang.

    My clients usually want to take home all of their favorite images, so we custom design a vintage velvet album for the remaining images.
